Education in Canada is controlled by each province and territory. Schooling is mandatory in all regions, which contributes to the country's literacy rate being so high: 99%.
Canada is one of the richest nations in the world. With an abundance of natural resources, it has a strong, growing and stable economy, with a strong presence in the service industry, which employs about three quarters of Canadians. It is a leading country in research and innovation.
Multiculturalism
The country encourages and values diversity, respects different cultures and their individualities, and honours its history and ancestors.
Living in diverse communities helps us to understand each other, respect different backgrounds and to live in harmony. In addition to diversity, it is a country known for being inclusive, supporting the LGBTQ + community and giving a voice to minorities.
Women also have a strong and fundamental role in the country. A survey revealed that women have a high participation rate in the workforce, with 82% of women between 25 and 54 years old working in the labour market. According to the 2020 Global Peace Index survey Canada was ranked sixth among the most peaceful nations in the world.

Safety is undoubtedly one of the greatest reasons why people move to Canada. It is what makes Canada so attractive for those looking for a more peaceful life.
Healthcare system
Canada’s healthcare system is considered one of the best in the world, built on the principles of universality and equity, in which everyone has access to medical and hospital care. Each province or territory has its own rules and regulations.
